About It's a Girl Thing:
"It's a Girl Thing was started by Wendy Kellam and her daughter, Brooks. Both of them enjoyed great careers, but more than work, they enjoyed shopping! She discussed it with her daughter. She left her job and traveled across the country in search ofspecial items. Brooks was at side the entire time. After the shopping spree of a lifetime, Wendy and Brooks began photographing, cataloging, and pricing their merchandise. Word quickly spread on Facebook and It's a Girl Thing was off and running. In no time at all, Wendy and Brooks sold their first handbag. Today, It's a Girl Thing is run out of Wendy's home. A good deal of her time is spent working as a personal shopper and adding new inventory. Brooks still pops in and acts as a consultant and companion. Wendy and Brooks are proof that you can follow your dreams and build a business!"
